Please note some criminals are using the Coronavirus outbreak as an opportunity to defraud individuals and companies. This can include offering products, guidance or a safe haven for money. Therefore we all need to be more then usually vigilant at the moment.
We are currently having to change the way we work with staff working remotely and certain documents no longer requiring original signatures. However, the vast majority of our procedures remain in place as before the lockdown. We ask that should you get any communication apparently originating from Satis that you are not 100% confident in that you contact us and verify the communication.
Our website is www.satiswealth.com all our staff are listed on the website along with their contact details. These contact details remain the same while we work remotely, please only use these details and ones you have used previously when contacting us.
During this time Satis will not differ from our usual procedures regarding client money. Satis have decided not to be regulated to hold client money therefore we will never ask you to transfer money to a Satis account or make a cheque payable to Satis unless this is for a fee owed to Satis.
You may receive calls from our service providers for whom you are also a client, this should only happen when Satis are working on an instruction on your behalf. If you have any suspicions at all about any call or other communication please contact a member of Satis staff who will be able to confirm the validity of the call or other communication.
Satis will not provide your details to another company without talking to you first and getting your approval. Therefore if you are contacted by a third party that you are not aware of then please speak to a member of your Satis team to confirm validity of the contact before proceeding.
Satis have added video conferencing to the services we offer, for this we use Zoom and if you have a meeting via this method you will receive a link inviting you to join the meeting from one of the Satis team. If you receive any other type of link from a source you are not familiar with then please treat this with caution.
At Satis we are very lucky in that we have established long term relationships with our clients and you have become familiar with the team which provides our service to you. We ask in these times when our work practice is changing slightly that you use this team fully and check with us on anything you regard as suspicious.
